I'm not a lawyer, and I don't want to have to hire one to make sure that I've covered everything here. The short version is, this is a website run by volunteers. We're not getting paid to blog, the website isn't affiliated with any candidate or political organization, and we prefer that you respect our rights and the rights of the readers. No one's making any money off of this website, and no one's breaking the law (at least, not that I know of). Even so, here are a few things worth outlining:
Walberg Watch is not authorized by any candidate for office, political party, or other political organization. It is operated using personal funds and maintained by volunteers. As of July 9th, 2008, I have been volunteering with the Schauer for Congress campaign in Lenawee County. I have received no compensation from the campaign and keep the work I do for them separate from the work I do on this website. Other bloggers may choose to volunteer with the Schauer campaign or other campaigns. This website remains unaffiliated with any candidate for office. All content is the property of its original author, except where otherwise stated. The individuals who operate Walberg Watch are not responsible for content on other websites except where otherwise stated. Administrators of the Walberg Watch blog reserve the right to delete objectionable content. I reserve the right to edit other pages of Walberg Watch as I see fit. Many bloggers and users of Walberg Watch, including myself, prefer to remain anonymous. I ask that you respect our privacy. -- Fitzy |
